TSAVO EAST/AMBOSELI/TSAVO WEST

This is a great combination of game viewing in all the three parks. The dominant red elephants and the descendants of the infamous man eaters’ lions of Tsavo will usher you into the true African savannah in Tsavo east national park. About 450 species of sedentary and migratory birds around the swamps with a backdrop of the majestic snow caped Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli will leave you in awe of nature. The breath-taking mountainous landscape parched by 160 years old lava flow looking fresh as yesterday from a distance in Tsavo west national park will no wonder awaken your curiosity about the magnificence of mother nature. Somewhere down in the park, Mzima springs lush out of the porous volcanic rocks to form an ecosystem giving life to aquatic players like hippopotamus, Nile crocodiles, fish, not forgetting the forest and arboreal dwellers like vervet monkeys and the diurnal bush baby or galago. The fish in the waters attract the African fish eagle, the king fishers and many more other species. The springs are also a source of clean drinking water to the coastal town of Mombasa and its environs.

Day 1. Mombasa/Tsavo East

Pickup from your coastal hotel in the morning and drive to Tsavo east national park. A two hours and a half drive bring you to Bachuma gate from where you indulge in game viewing as you drive through the park to the lodge/camp for lunch. Large herds of red elephants, Zebras, antelopes, Giraffes and many more will keep your eyes busy as you drive past the savannah. Lunch at the lodge/camp with a short rest before you board your safari van for an afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Day 2. Tsavo East/Amboseli

Early breakfast will be followed by a brief game drive in Tsavo east before heading to Amboseli national park. Lunch at the lodge/camp followed by an afternoon game drive in Amboseli national park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

Day 3. Amboseli/ Tsavo west

Early breakfast at the lodge /camp then morning game drive before proceeding to Tsavo west national park. Game drive in Tsavo west en route to the lodge /camp for lunch. Afternoon game drive in Tsavo west with until sunset. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp. Mzima springs may be visited before or after lunch.

Day 4. Tsavo west/ Mombasa

Early breakfast at the lodge/ camp the proceed to a morning game drive as you head to exit the park. Drive back to Mombasa arriving in the afternoon
